Hoshino Tomoyuki is a contemporary Japanese ceramic artist celebrated for his innovative porcelain works and distinctive exploration of the color pink. Born in Kofu, he initially pursued a career in business before leaving the corporate world to study ceramics in Kyoto under the respected potter Ikai Yuichi.

In 2006, he established Yuki Kiln in Kokubunji, Tokyo, where he developed his signature neritsugi technique, which combines marbled clay (neriage) with joined sections of clay to create richly textured and visually complex surfaces. Hoshino's work often features soft pink tones and delicate glaze effects that evoke warmth, vulnerability, and human connection.

A full member of the Japan Kogei Association, he has received numerous prestigious awards, including honors at the Japan Traditional Kogei Exhibition, the Japan Ceramic Art Exhibition, and the International Ceramics Festival Mino. His ceramics are admired for blending technical mastery with a contemporary aesthetic that reinterprets traditional Japanese craftsmanship
